Cameron was raised in Florence, MT before attending Treasure Valley Community College on a baseball scholarship. After two years at TVCC, he joined Gonzaga University's baseball team, where he met his eventual wife Genavive, who was on the GU women’s golf team at the time. Cameron founded the Gonzaga chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and during his senior year he was named Academic All-American and All-West Region and also received the 2011 WCC Sportsmanship award. He was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles and achieved his dream of playing professional baseball before retiring in 2013.
Cameron began his non-athletic professional career at ConAgra Foods as a Production Supervisor before moving back to Spokane to get closer to home. He then worked at Kaiser Aluminum as an Operations Planning Supervisor for four years and, after a brief stint at Amazon as an Area Manager in 2021, Cameron felt the call to harness his personal drive and values system by launching a new career in real estate, joining his in-laws Ken and Teresa Dodge.
Cameron received his undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University in Communication and also received a certificate of Servant Leadership during his time working towards a Master’s degree. Cameron is excited to put his Operations Management background, athletic mindset, “blue-collar” work-ethic, integrity and others-first leadership style to use in serving the community of North Idaho as a real estate agent!
In his free time, Cameron enjoys spending time with his wife and four boys, volunteering at his local church, and coordinating sports camps. He currently sits on the board of a non-profit organization and is also on the Parish Council.
